I honestly didn’t know what to expect emotionally, but when I opened it I just sat there staring at it for a long time. Being able to put his collar back on him felt like something I’d been holding onto without realizing it. It’s beautiful, and it finally gave meaning to why I couldn’t let the collar go :)

this piece means more to me than I can explain!! i’ve kept her collar all this time because throwing it away never felt right, but I didn’t know what to do with it. seeing her wearing it again feels comforting in a way I didn’t expect... it’s absolutely beautiful and something I’ll always treasure.

From the moment I hung it up, it felt like it belonged there. Being able to place her real collar on the portrait made it incredibly meaningful. It’s hard to describe, but it brought me a sense of peace I didn’t realize I needed. This is easily one of the most special things I own.

My son gave me this as a present; seeing him with his collar again brought back so many loving memories. It feels personal and thoughtful, not just like artwork. Having him hanging in my home now feels like he’s still with me in some way. I’m so thankful for this.
